A very good course to attend, as each issue of child behavior was discussed in details and analysed to bring about strategy to the resolve the behavior issue. Some good examples and agency recommends which deal with behavior problem. Parent feel confident to bring their issue/problem to the group discussion and is informative for each group members. Parents don't feel isolated from child's behavioral issue and disability.

We found this workshop helpful.
We received guideline and assurances that we are in good track to receive right help and we were not forgotten.
We received a lot of tips, which we can work towards and developing some strategies from now on.
The workshop highly increased but knowledge.

I understood the early warning signs, the way to find an exit when this happens to prevent him from harming himself and others.
The reward system is also very helpful in knowing how it really works. There were different helpful resources for the nurses which really helped.
I must say they have extensive experience and they shared this with me. I feel more resourceful than I have felt in 3 years.
Small groups are very helpful and useful and I learnt from the other parents as well.

The worse ha been invaluable, having discussions with other parents with similar issues really helped. Having the mix of professionals gave a great balance enabling me to help understand my child's behavior and tactics to help me manage and overcome difficult behavior being displayed. I feel more confident and also understand the behavior.
I have come away with strategies to try and test.
